Kristi is an academic data librarian at a mid-size Canadian university. If you don't know what a data librarian does, don't worry about it, neither does anyone else. She's also the subject specialist for computer science.

Kristi compensates for the extreme techiness of her day job by being an artsy-craftsy crocheter, beader, and fantasy-novel reader after hours. She is of a moderate age and has a pet husband and cat.
