I am a recent college graduate living in St. Paul, Minnesota, where my motto has become, "keep crafting or your fingers will freeze!"  Ihave an avid love for crafting.  I consider myself to be new to crocheting, but I have already found many ways to incorporate it into my various sewing and home decoration projects.  When I'm not crocheting, I can be found behind my sewing machine or on the floor with acrylic paints and a hot glue gun.  What comes to mind is Halloween, in which my roommate and I made a "Joker from The Dark Knight" near-as-humanly-possible screen-accurate suit, and I made myself some shrapnel gore for my own costume.  I am also a novelist, and currently have two novels in the works.

I look forward to having "swandle parties" with my family this year; "swandle" being an invented word for the length of yarn between the skein and the stitch you're on.

When I'm not being crafty, I'm reading, watching TV or playing on my Nintendo Wii (typically as Mario, a surgeon, a Marvel hero, or a rock star).  I look forward to sharing my passion with Crochet Uncut.
