It’s a continuing pattern in my life to set my mind to learning something and then jump in with both feet. Sometimes, I forget to put my water wings on and I will fail miserably. Not so the case with crochet. I picked up a hook in December, 2007 in the hopes that it would help me quit smoking and once things stopped looking like kidneys and I learned about the concept of turning chains, I never looked back.
Since then I have learned much, made many mistakes, and used up tons of yarn.
I grew up in Maine and moved to the western suburbs of Philadelphia in 2004. By day, I’m project management assistant for a sign company and by night I am the mom of a 14 year old boy, two cats, two betta fish, and three plants. So far the plants seem to be the most responsive.
