Deb Burger is an Associate Professional member of the CGOA and has been crocheting for about 40 years.  She also makes quilts, paints and works in collage media. She teaches crochet in classes for both children and adults, and her designs are available at her website, Crochet: the Extraordinary Realm and on Ravelry. In her "other life" she is a consultant, speaker, and author within the homeschooling community of the Southeastern US.

Deb learned crochet from her grandmother at age 10, and it has been her “first fiber love” for the ensuing 40 years.  When not crocheting, Deb can be found in her flower garden, reading a book, painting, or singing folk music with her husband, Don, a musician and song-writer. Their 7 grown children and 3 grandchildren are the regular and grateful  recipients of crocheted gifts.
