Spa is softer than the Country yarn and thinner which makes for a great yarn for sweaters, tops, and baby items. I like that the acrylic helps to give the yarn strength and drape along with the silky sheen of the bamboo, but, the yarn can be a bit slippery and seemed to work better with an acrylic hook. I had some trouble with this yarn on a bamboo hook as it kept catching on the wood so would suggest sticking with a metal or acrylic hook. I&#8217;m assuming the same would go for bamboo knitting needles. As with the Country yarn, this yarn does split some, but using a hook with a rounded tip usually takes care of this most of the time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Overall, this is a very nice yarn, with a nice drape, sheen, and sofness. The only real issue I had with this yarn besides the splitting is that I found a few sections where the yarn looked like the image below and this was after pulling just a few yards out of the skein so I don&#8217;t believe it was something I had done.
