Drops Merino Extra Fine is a superwash yarn that produces a sturdy yet soft non-itchy fabric. It has a nice stretch and would work equally well for scarves, mittens, hats, and warm clothing.<\/p>\n

The yarn has a slightly lofty feel to it so the yarn isn’t too bulky feeling but works up into well defined stitches. I was surprised at how thick the stitches worked up because the yarn itself is so light. While I used a G6 hook for my swatch, an H8 would work just as well with this yarn.<\/p>\n

Because the yarn is super-wash, it stands up well to being washed in the washing machine.<\/p>\n
