My cousin Marci is getting married and I offered to make her a garter as her wedding present. I wanted something lacy without being too fancy but that could also be easily modified.<\/p>\n

With a ribbon to tie it on, this garter belt is one that can be handed down through the generations.<\/p>\n

Each pattern repeat is 12 sts, so if you use a different size thread or hook, make sure you take this into account.<\/p>\n

Tiny beads can be added in if you’d like to fancy it up a bit. Suggestions include on the second ch of picot on bottom ruffle and in the center of the flower petals.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
