| Hat Top | |
| Beg Round | With magic circle, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, pull to tighten, pm in last sc. Do not join. |
| Round 1 | Sc in first sc, *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc,* rep from * to * around ending with 2 sc in last sc, move marker up to last sc made (continue moving marker up as you go). |
| Round 2 | *Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc,* rep from * to * around. |
| Round 3 | *Sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc,* rep from * to * around. |

Continue with ea round adding one sc to ea rep, i.e., 4 sc, 2 sc in next; 5 sc, 2 sc in next, etc., until the length from the center to the edge is:
