Summer is for Crocheting

This issue was a difficult one for me as all the patterns ended up being mine.  I had to make sure I had good patterns for you. Remember that if you’d like to submit a pattern or article, let me know. If you are a beginning designer and would like to test the waters, this is a perfect way to get started.

The patterns I have this month are some that I’ve been wanting to do for a while and finally got exactly what I wanted. First off is a purse using the Crocodile stitch, in all white – perfect for a wedding or night out. Make it in other colors for an awesome accessory. Next is a lacy insert for those dresses and tops that are just a bit too low for a social or business occasion. They can be made in any color to match all your outfits. Finally, we have a panty made using small flower motifs. Use the techniques in the pattern to expand to tops, skirts, and more.

Reviews include crocheted pillows, beaded edgings, and stuff for babies. Feza Yarns provided several yarns for review with great textures and colors.

Finally, thanks to those who have donated to help support Crochet Uncut. I was able to pay for a couple of months of hosting which helped ease some of the cost on me. Your support is greatly appreciated.

I hope you enjoy this issue!
